For Years when I told people I made crosses they would always assume I was talking about wearable ones...Finally after years of refining my designs I am launching my Twisted Sistas Line....Some of it is composed of salt water pearls and other stones.  My fun and funky line includes recycled Mardi Gras Beads incorporating custom emblems, pendants and charms...I will be posting pictures of it soon.

Orders From Atlanta Market Being Shipped

 Kimberly Lang Designs - WHAT'S HAPPENING....

Hi everyone....My trip to the Atlanta Merchandise Mart was very successful!!!  I am busy trying to get all the orders out as we speak.  PLEASE BE PATIENT!!!!  I am an artist and do all my own production...NO MASS PRODUCTION...Each piece is made by hand in my Art Studio in Downtown Mobile.

I can promise you when you get your order MADE IN THE U.S.A.  you will be very pleased to be supporting local artists that I am working with.  I just recently hired my first  2 apprentices on the art side.  My Daughter Hannah Lang and Nikko Gould.  They will be working in all aspects of the business from design, development of the designs and production of the various art lines we will be marketing across the country. 

Anne Morrison is also joining our team as both administrative and creative.  She specializes in Jewelry and will be incorporating our crosses and other hand made beads, pendants and charms into wearable art!

I am working with tile again creating some beautiful pieces. Just recently I created an outdoor tile piece for a new home.  Using a motif of palms and pineapples I then centered the initials of the home owner and it all came together beautifully!!

Wholesale Information For Shops and Non-profit/Fundraising Organizations

 

A lead time of 2 weeks is generally required for orders. My minimum order for new accounts is $300.00. My Crosses sell much better if there is a nice grouping of them in all the various colors and styles I design. I generally recommend 2 to 3 dozen assorted sizes and colors. The Bright Tropicals, The West Indies and The Contemporary designs all show well together.

Each Cross comes with a story card and are all hand signed.

White Glazed Hurricane Crosses are often given as Wedding or Anniversary Gifts. They are often referred to as Coastal Wedding Crosses. I can make them as the one shown with Terra Cotta Clay or they can be made of white clay and finished with white glaze giving them a shiny-contemporary feel.

Poochies In Paradise

Ok....Everyone who has a pet like me...will be all about "Poochies In Paradise" - The line will include adorable ornaments, crosses, multi-religion art, doggy costumes and "Poochie Prayer Pillows"....This is going to be a one of a kind collection and I will be devoting a second blog to it alone....So many Animals are homeless and abused...My daughter Hannah and I want to give back - so a percentage of all sales from P.I.P. will go to the prevention of animal cruelty...I am also embarking on a huge project for the homeless...providing them with prayer pillows full of gifts to include food gift cards & prayers as a source of inspiration and the knowledge that they matter to us....I will be posting that on my website as well...I hope that everyone that reads this has a cause that they choose to help during these economic times....Non-profits as well as your regular old Joes are suffering...reach out and help someone each day...God will bless you 10 Fold.
